The purpose of the Central 5k Memorial Scholarship is to honor the memory of local residents of Central School District and to assist graduating students in their pursuit of their chosen career field. The 2009 Central 5K Memorial Scholarships were dedicated to the memory of Bethany Cailteux. The winners can be seen here. The scholarship selection is based on grade point average, ACT score, School/Community involvement, Central 5K race participation and short answer questions. A Scholarship Certificate is awarded at the Central Awards Night. Please check back often for details on the 2011 Scholarships which will be dedicated to the memory of Garrett Wilking.
